Jobs and Skills Australia publishes the Occupation Shortage List (OSL). The latest published edition is the 2025 Occupation Shortage List, which reports occupations assessed as being in shortage nationally or in particular states and territories. It is a point-in-time labour-market assessment, not a skilled-visa eligibility list and not a guarantee that an individual will find a job, receive sponsorship, qualify for a visa, or meet professional registration requirements.
