To be eligible for an invitation, you must nominate an occupation on the relevant skilled occupation list, be under 45 at the time of invitation, meet at least Competent English, and score a minimum of 65 points on the points test. Check the instructions for your visa subclass to confirm when a suitable skills assessment must be obtained and declared. Your points are calculated at the time of invitation, not at the time you lodge the EOI.
